Rakshabandhan celebrates the purity and sanctity of the bond that exists between siblings. 
The Rakhi thread is considered sacred because it reminds us of the promise a brother makes to his sister that he will always protect her. 
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, 'Rakhi Making Activity' was organised by Samsara -The World Academy on 5th August 2022 i.e Saturday. 
Students of the Foundational wing made colourful Rakhis for their siblings using different articles like thread, glitter sheets, ribbon, beads etc. under the guidance of their class teachers. 
The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and were excited to take it home for their siblings. 
The vibrant colourful 'Rakhis' made by brightened the ambience and lifted the spirit.
