World Heart Day

‘The beat of your life goes on only if you have a healthy heart.’

World Heart Day is observed and celebrated annually on 29th September, to increase awareness about cardiovascular disease and to negate its global impact. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the most common cause of death globally. To ensure a healthy heart, one has to encourage himself and others to lead an active and healthy lifestyle to keep their hearts healthy. 

Keeping this in mind, the science students of class XI   of Samsara -The World Academy participated in an activity where they shared information about cardiovascular disease (CVD)and the causes. They also discussed several ways to help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. The students were made aware of a healthy lifestyle for a healthy heart. All the students took part enthusiastically. It was a significant learning experience for them.
