CBSE Regional Office Dehradun and Sports Authority of India conducted a workshop Khelo India on 8 March,2019 at JP International School, Greater Noida. Our PGT Physical Education Mr Pradeep Verma attended the workshop on Health and Physical Education. The trainer and Speaker Ms. Neeraj and Mr. Narendar Tomar stated that each school should conduct the Physical Education training from class I to XII. The students should be trained in activities which enhance their balance, cardio vascular fitness., endurance flexibility as well as their speed and coordination.
These records should be duly maintained by the school throughout the academic year of the students. These tests should be performed twice in a year and participation should be mandatory.
CBSE has also launched Khelo India app where schools are required to register their students and update the records regularly so that parents can also see their wards performance.
