Students of Class V performed the activity-Seed Germination - to understand the importance of air, water ,warmth and light for germination of seed. Students were asked to plant beans in a bowl and observe its growth day by day. This experiment gave them the opportunity to closely observe the growth of seeds and imagine what would actually be happening under the ground. The Learning outcome was to understand the basic requirements for the growth of a plant and predict what would happen if necessary conditions are not fulfilled.
