Students of class X learnt about the chemical and physical properties of Soil and its types found in Indian subcontinent. They studied different samples of soil in thier area and identified the major states on the map of India by classifying them into different soil types on the basis of its colour, thickness, texture, age etc. This activity helped the learners to familiarise with the different aspects of soil thus enhancing their knowledge of the subject.
