On13 November, 2018 , Samsara- The World Academy organised a workshop on Road Safety for the students of classes VIII, IX and XI.
Mr. Balbir Singh, Traffic Sub- inspector, carried the lecture on road safety and gave them valuable information about the precautions and safety rules to be followed while on road.
The students were addressed about the causes of road accident. He told them that using a mobile phone while driving or while crossing the road is the biggest culprit of road accident today.
He also informed students about the importance of wearing helmet and seatbelt during driving.
Students were also informed about the speed track cameras on expressway. The Session ended with a pledge taken by students and teachers present there for not breaking the traffic rules while driving. This workshop ensured to educate our students and make them more responsible citizen.
